This isn't a replica, it's the genuine article. Interesting fact the owner of the phone booth told me; it's no longer possible to get real ones from the UK. The queen has made it illegal to export them.

The thing is so heavy that they literally had to use a crane to get the thing into the back yard! Except for the door it's entirely made of heavy gauge steel. :D

oh yeah, almost forgot...

the story behind how it got into the garden is that one day the wife of the house had mentioned to her husband that she always wanted one. He literally found one in the UK and had it shipped here! Yes, the guy is loaded. :D

The phone inside the booth isn't authentic though, but it is an antique AT&T payphone. :D

I wondered if it was real after the fact, I noticed the flooring looked like ones I've seen in the UK. I can't imagine what it would have cost to have it imported, but it makes a killer studio prop. I'll have to ask my friend in Somerset about why they ban the export, sounds rather silly to me.
